TESTIMONIALS

GEORGIA

Georgia is often referred to as the face of Abilities because her smiling face is so often on our posters.

She has been at Youth Connections for over 5 years, across all of our locations, though she is currently at Long Jetty.

Georgia recently went on the Abilities trip to Dubbo Zoo, where she saw an array of animals including baby rhinos, giraffes and lions! She loves being a part of the Long Jetty crew because she has made so many friends and had great experiences.

CHRISTIAN

JESSY

Ask Christian anything about the Rabbitohs and he’ll answer; he knows his football. Christian has been at Youth Connections for 4 to 5 years, a veteran!

His favourite thing about Abilities is getting involved in the gaming; he loves to play the car games.

He also enjoys cooking at Long Jetty. Most recently he learnt a recipe for making pizza and tacos, but he is yet to replicate them at home.

Jessy has been at Youth Connections for around 5 months, participating in both the after-school and school-holidays programs.

Jessy says the best thing about Youth Connections is getting to meet Rono, the Long Jetty site Program Manager.

Recently, Jessy has been spending his time in the Long Jetty programs practicing hard to get his Learners license. He finally sat his test and passed with 100%, so look out for Jessy on the roads soon.

SHAYLEA

Shaylea, or miss sassy as she is affectionately known, has been at Youth Connections for around a year.

She says so far she is enjoying the after school and school holiday programs. She loves making new friends, with Georgia being her best friend at Youth Connections.

In the last school holiday program, Shaylea conquered her fear of feeding the stingray at the Port Stephens Shark and Ray Centre! Shaylea is always smiling and always on the go.
