Carwash enterprise a pathway to success
yG enterprise Car Cleaning Services is a waterless car wash business using environmentally friendly products and training and employing young people with a disability.
20-year-old entrepreneur Aaron Ross first joined youthconnections.com.au Transition To Work programme in 2009 when he began his journey from school to employment that a lot of young people with a disability can find quite challenging.
"Over 20% of young people with a disability in NSW who sit their HSC will have poor transitions into a job," said Ashley McGeorge, youthconnections.com.au Pathway Advocate Manager and TTW Coordinator.
Rossi now works in the car cleaning social enterprise which he made happen in August 2010 and has learnt that having a positive attitude to whatever job you want to go for is the only way to succeed. Six months on, an added admin person and having cleaned the interior and exterior of close to 50 cars, Rossi is a proud employee.
"I'm really excited and looking forward to many more happy customers." he said.

We are a registered business offering services in concreting, landscaping, shop fitting, carpentry, general maintenance and labour hire, all carried out to Australian standards and the building codes of Australia. What's been going on
Late last year yG enterprise Concrete Services apprentices were working on the construction of a community pathway aimed to improve pedestrian and cyclist safety and promote a healthy lifestyle in the Wyong area. The project is now complete and the pathway has re-opened from Porter's Creek bridge to the freeway bridge on Alison Road, Wyong. This project was made possible thanks to the 2010 Community Building Partnership Program through Wyong Council and the support of LA Group for making the project possible.
Not only proficient in all things concrete, yGenterprise Concrete Services can put their hand to just about anything. Recently completing a 40 square metre deck on a residential property in Niagra Park, it's another job under their belt!
