This program is funded by the NSW Department of Education and Training. It targets students who are disengaged or ‘at risk’ of disengaging from the school system. It aims to re-engage participants in learning through support in their transition to employment. Selected schools only.
Independent Employment Advisers support and build on the success of existing Central Coast schools by providing flexible, customised support to students who have a history of poor educational outcomes and post school transitions into further education, training and/or employment. They provide one-on-one case management or small group delivery, covering school to work planning, mentoring and employment brokerage services for students in years 9 to 12.
