Across all industries, employers are looking for people that have good communication skills, present themselves in a way that is appropriate to the industry, work well as a part of a team, are committed to the job and willing to learn new things.

Course applications open Monday 6th August, 2007 and will close Friday October 26th, 2007.

A few tips to make a great first impression:
- Aim to arrive 5-10 minutes early
- Preparation- research the company that you are going for the job with. The easiest way to do this is to check them out on the internet.
- Practice, practice, practice - get mum, dad, or a mate to ask you some practice interview questions and think about some impressive responses. (HINT: check out the practice interview questions on the CATS section of this website)
- Introduce yourself, shake hands with the employer, make eye contact when answering questions and remember to smile!

· are you aged between 13-19 years old
· are you thinking of leaving school before Yr 12
· are you struggling with school work
