Don’t wait to get real life skills. Did you know you can start an Apprenticeship or Traineeship as part of your HSC? It’s called the Australian School-based Apprenticeships Program (ASBA for short). If you are keen to get a head-start in your career, the ASBA program will put you streets ahead of the rest.
In the ASBA program, you will study a nationally-recognised vocational training qualification while studying for the HSC, usually during years 11 and 12.
You may attend work 1-2 days per week, either on block release, during the school holidays, or both.
Australian Business Limited Apprenticeships Centre (ABLAC) will help you sign-up with an employer, your school, Tafe or other Registered Training Organisation (RTO). Call us today on 1300 652 236 for free help and advice.
If you already have an employer ask them to call us and we will assist with completing the paperwork and government incentives and pay rates. Call us today on 1300 652 236 for free help and advice.
