Wyong Trade School Case Study - Kyle Moncur
My name is Kyle and I attend Wyong Trade School as a trainee electrician. I commute to Wyong High and Wyong TAFE from Newcastle. As part of my traineeship, I work at DownerEDI Rail. Working at DownerEDI Rail I have had the opportunity to complete electrical and fitting work on million dollar trains. I find my workday very interesting and look forward to becoming a second year apprentice next year. I have recently been awarded HunterNet Group Training School Based Trainee of the Year and also CCATAC VET in School Student of the Year. I recommend a school based apprenticeship or traineeship to anyone who wants to get paid while they complete their HSC.
