Mt Penang Project
Green Central – Business Incubation, Social Enterprise and Education (BISEE) will assist the Region and its population move towards sustainable lifestyle and future by providing jobs and skill training in the development of a Green Space, public education, demonstration and promotion, social enterprise and business incubation around environmentally sustainable natural resource management (use of water, energy, land, waste and transport).
The site identified for this project requires considerable and immediate manpower to restore and fit out buildings and construct the sustainable use of resources. In addition the surrounding land needs to be restored to reflect natural habitats and plant species and will be in line with recommendations from the traditional land owners.

Wyong Trade School Case Study - Kyle Moncur
My name is Kyle and I attend Wyong Trade School as a trainee electrician. I commute to Wyong High and Wyong TAFE from Newcastle. As part of my traineeship, I work at DownerEDI Rail. Working at DownerEDI Rail I have had the opportunity to complete electrical and fitting work on million dollar trains. I find my workday very interesting and look forward to becoming a second year apprentice next year. I have recently been awarded HunterNet Group Training School Based Trainee of the Year and also CCATAC VET in School Student of the Year. I recommend a school based apprenticeship or traineeship to anyone who wants to get paid while they complete their HSC.-
